PES/SWE Joint Event: Electrical Engineering EmPOWERment

Electricity and electronics are the backbone of modern society. However, electrical engineering has one of the lowest proportions of bachelor’s degrees awarded to women– less than 13% annually– with even fewer women staying in industry after five years. Why do so few women succeed in the field? And what can we learn from these engineering elite? Join the Columbus sections of the Power and Energy Society (PES) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) for snacking, networking, and a panel discussion with the women who power our world.
